Managing Emergencies in Paediatric Anaesthesia (MEPA) Course 2026

Monday 23rd March 2026 & Monday 21st September 2026

Women's and Children's Hospital, Adelaide, SA

GENERAL INFORMATION

MEPA is a single day course designed to equip anaesthetists with strategies for dealing with important emergencies in paediatric anaesthesia. Facilitated by experienced paediatric anaesthetists, the course provides a comprehensive update in paediatric anaesthesia and resuscitation and is aimed at anaesthetists who undertake occasional paediatric lists, provide out of hours care or who may be involved in the care of a sick child.
Scenarios for the day are written by experts and peer reviewed. There are 6 scenarios each followed by a debrief and update lecture and every candidate will get the opportunity to take part in a scenario as well as observe others.
